Terms at a glance

Service description: Support is a helpdesk ticketing application that operates within Microsoft Teams to streamline support workflows.

Free and paid plans: We offer a Free plan (3 agents, 50 tickets/month) and Business plan (unlimited agents and tickets).

Acceptable use: Use Support lawfully and in accordance with these terms. Prohibited activities include misuse, unauthorized access, and harmful content.

Acceptance of terms

By installing, accessing, or using Support for Microsoft Teams ("Support," "the Service," or "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using Support on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use Support. We may modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of Support constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Description of service

Support is a helpdesk ticketing application designed to operate within Microsoft Teams. The Service allows users to create, manage, track, and resolve support tickets directly within the Teams environment, providing seamless integration with your existing workflow.

Service features

Support provides ticket creation and management, status tracking, agent assignment, internal comments and collaboration, file attachments, notification systems, and reporting capabilities. The specific features available may vary based on your subscription plan.

Data storage and backups

We maintain regular backups of your data to ensure service reliability and data protection. These backups are stored securely and are subject to the same security measures as your primary data.

Service availability

While we strive to maintain high availability, Support is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons.

User accounts and registration

Account creation

To use Support, you must install the app within your Microsoft Teams environment. Your Support account is linked to your Microsoft Teams identity and inherits authentication through Microsoft's systems.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Microsoft Teams environment and ensuring that only authorized users have access to Support within your organization. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Account termination

You may terminate your use of Support at any time by selecting "Delete Support" in the app settings (admin access required). Simply uninstalling the app from Microsoft Teams does not automatically terminate your account or delete your data. We may suspend or terminate your access to Support if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.

Subscription plans and billing

Free plan

Our Free plan includes access for 3 agents with a limit of 50 tickets per month. The Free plan is provided at no cost but may have limited features compared to paid plans.

Business plan

Our Business plan offers unlimited agents and tickets, along with advanced features. Pricing and billing terms for the Business plan are available on our website and may be updated from time to time.

Payment and billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You authorize us to charge your specified payment method for all fees. If payment fails, we may suspend your service until payment is resolved.

Refunds and cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are generally not provided for partial months, except as required by law.

Acceptable use policy

Permitted use

Support is intended for legitimate business purposes related to customer support, help desk operations, and internal ticketing workflows. You may use Support in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.

Prohibited activities

You may not use Support to violate any laws, infringe on intellectual property rights, transmit harmful or malicious content, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with the Service's operation, use automated tools to access the Service without permission, or resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.

Content guidelines

You are responsible for all content you submit through Support, including ticket descriptions, comments, and attachments. Content must not violate these Terms, applicable laws, or Microsoft Teams' community guidelines.

Intellectual property

Our intellectual property

Support, including its software, design, features, and documentation, is owned by Resolve.ms and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Support in accordance with these Terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of any content you submit through Support. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your content solely to provide the Support service to you.

Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Support, you grant us the right to use such feedback without restriction or compensation to improve our services.

Privacy and data protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Support, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data and comply with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR where applicable.

Disclaimers and limitations

Service disclaimers

Support is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resolve.ms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resolve.ms from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Support, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

Microsoft Teams integration

Support operates as a third-party application within Microsoft Teams. Your use of Microsoft Teams is governed by Microsoft's terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for Microsoft's services or policies.

Changes to Microsoft Teams' platform, policies, or APIs may affect Support's functionality. We will make reasonable efforts to adapt to such changes but cannot guarantee compatibility with all future Teams updates.

Termination

Termination by you

You may terminate your use of Support at any time by selecting "Delete Support" in the app settings (admin access required) and canceling any paid subscriptions. Simply uninstalling the app from Microsoft Teams does not terminate your account or trigger data deletion.

Termination by us

We may terminate or suspend your access to Support immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited activities, or if required by law. We may also discontinue Support with reasonable notice.

Effect of termination

Upon termination, your right to use Support ceases immediately. When you select "Delete Support" in the app settings, all your data will be permanently deleted from our servers, including all backups. This deletion is irreversible and we have no control over recovering the data once the deletion process is complete.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Resolve.ms is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Support will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association, except where prohibited by law.

General provisions

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Resolve.ms regarding Support and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

No waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. We will notify users of significant changes through the Support app, email, or by posting a notice on our website.

Your continued use of Support after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using Support.
